Programs & Partnerships

Rotary Club

For over the past decade, the Benicia Rotary Club has sponsored many of the activities at Liberty High School.  Rotary raises thousands of dollars each year to enhance the Liberty experience for our students. Historically, Rotary has funded our graduation ceremony at the Benicia Yacht Club, our arts and science programs, field trips, and our yearbook.  For more information on how you can help please contact Jim Trimble at jet2626@comcast.net

Art Club

With support from Arts Benicia, Liberty hosts an after-school art club every Thursday.  During this time, visiting artists share their artistic gifts with our students across a variety of mediums.  Students also take field trips to local studios and art galleries. For more information contact Celeste Smeland at celeste@artsbenicia.org

Greenhouse

Local gardeners come every Wednesday to work with Liberty students.  Students have the opportunity to earn extra credit while getting their hands dirty and learning the value of growing their own food.  For more information on how to get involved contact Monique Moench at moeneek@comcast.net

Mentoring

One of our most transformative programs at Liberty is our mentoring program. Since 2001, every student at Liberty High School has worked closely with a mentor from the community.  To find out more information please contact Ric Small at ric@alonzosmall.com
